This year, we participated again in Tech Week Singapore 2025, happening on 8-9 October.

Every year, Tech Week Singapore takes centre stage as Asia’s most influential technology event for business — a convergence points where global leaders, innovators, and visionaries come together to shape what is next. From artificial intelligence to cloud computing, cybersecurity to e-commerce, it is more than just a technology conference — but also where connections spark innovation and ideas turn into impact.

This year’s theme, “Connected Futures, Boundless Impact,” captured the spirit of collaboration and transformation driving today’s digital era. It reflected how technology continues to unite industries, empower people, and unlock endless possibilities for growth. The focus was not only on innovation — but also about building an interconnected future where intelligence, ethics, and sustainability work hand in hand to create meaningful, lasting impact.

Driven by a bold mission, Tech Week Singapore aims to foster connections between ideas, people, and solutions, empowering organisations to thrive amid the waves of rapid digital change. This project won the SGTech Impact Award 2025 for its ability to significantly reduce human errors, save time, and enhance overall efficiency.

In this award-winning process, Gleematic AI played a central role in automating the workflow for the disposal of storage devices:

  • Scanning Storage Device Labels: Gleematic used Optical Character Recognition (OCR) to scan images of storage device labels, automatically identifying and reading text from the images.
  • Extracting Key Information: With AI Machine Learning, Gleematic extracted important details such as serial numbers, model names, and device specifications, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
  • Compiling Structured Reports: All extracted data was organized into a pre-defined report template, eliminating the need for manual data entry.
  • Generating Charts and Visuals: Finally, the completed reports were automatically sent to Data Terminator’s team for review and validation, ensuring a smooth and traceable workflow.

This automation streamlined the entire storage device disposal process — reducing manual effort, minimizing human error, and enhancing speed, accuracy, and compliance.
