As artificial intelligence continues to reshape industries, the conversation has shifted from whether organizations should adopt AI to how they can generate measurable business outcomes from it. That was the central theme of the PLTPRO Cyber Resilience Executive Roundtable, organized by PLTPRO Data Centre Sdn Bhd in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia on 24th June 2026.
Our CEO, Christopher Lim joined the distinguished lineup of speakers to share practical strategies for successful AI adoption, demonstrating how Finance AI Agents are helping manufacturing companies transform finance operations from manual, reactive processes into intelligent, autonomous business functions.
Bringing Business Leaders Together to Build Cyber-Resilient, AI-Driven Enterprises
The executive roundtable provided an exclusive platform for business decision-makers to exchange perspectives on one of today’s biggest enterprise challenges: balancing rapid AI innovation with cybersecurity, governance, and operational resilience.
Rather than focusing solely on emerging technologies, the discussions emphasized practical implementation—how organizations can modernize business operations while maintaining security, compliance, and sustainable growth. Participants explored how AI is becoming a strategic capability that extends beyond IT departments to finance, operations, customer service, and executive decision-making.
Why Many AI Initiatives Fail to Deliver Business Value?
During the panel discussion, Christopher Lim challenged one of the most common misconceptions surrounding enterprise AI.
According to Christopher Lim, many organizations invest heavily in AI tools but fail to realize meaningful returns because AI is often deployed as isolated applications rather than being integrated into end-to-end business processes.
Successful AI adoption, he explained, requires organizations to redesign workflows, establish clear business objectives, define measurable KPIs, and prepare employees for new ways of working. Without these foundational elements, even the most advanced AI technologies struggle to create lasting business impact.
The discussion reinforced an important message shared throughout the event: AI transformation is fundamentally a business transformation—not merely a technology project.
How AI Agents are Transforming Finance Operations
In his speaking session, Christopher Lim showcased how Finance AI Agents are redefining finance operations within manufacturing organizations by moving beyond traditional automation.
Unlike conventional workflow automation that simply executes predefined rules, Finance AI Agents combine multiple AI capabilities to monitor, analyze, reason, make decisions, and execute actions across enterprise systems.
Examples of manufacturing finance use cases discussed included:
- Automated purchase order processing
- Invoice validation and reconciliation
- Accounts payable automation
- Credit risk monitoring
- Financial document intelligence
- ERP workflow automation
- Exception handling and approval recommendations
- Real-time financial analysis and reporting
Unlike conventional automation tools that simply follow predefined rules, intelligent Finance AI Agents combine multiple AI technologies into a single operational assistant capable of understanding, reasoning, and taking action across complex business processes.
#1. Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG): to access enterprise knowledge and company-specific information in real time
#2. Large Language Models (LLMs): to interpret natural language and generate contextual responses, business rules to ensure compliance with organizational policies,
#3. Decision-making based on business rules and real-time data
#4. Workflow automation: to execute tasks seamlessly across ERP systems and enterprise applications.
Introducing the Framework for Successful AI Adoption
Recognizing that the best frameworks are the ones people actually remember, Christopher Lim introduced the HAM Framework. This was one of the key highlights during his presentation. He intentionally chose the acronym HAM because it’s something everyone recognizes and remembers—reinforcing that effective AI adoption doesn’t have to be complicated.
This framework is a simple yet practical approach to enterprise AI adoption. Named after a familiar everyday food that’s easy to remember, the framework serves as a memorable reminder that successful AI transformation depends on three essential pillars:
H — Human Factors
AI success begins with people.
Organizations must invest in employee skills, change management, leadership alignment, and job redesign to ensure AI complements human expertise rather than simply automating existing tasks.
A — Architecture
Strong technology foundations enable AI to operate effectively.
This includes well-designed business processes, integrated enterprise systems, quality data, governance, and scalable infrastructure that allows AI to function across departments instead of remaining siloed.
M — Measurement
Every AI initiative should be measured against clear business outcomes.
Rather than evaluating AI solely on technical performance, organizations should define KPIs tied to productivity improvements, cost reduction, operational efficiency, customer experience, and revenue growth to ensure AI investments generate measurable value.
The Journey from AI Experimentation to Enterprise Transformation
The executive roundtable highlighted a growing shift taking place across industries. Organizations are moving beyond experimental AI pilots toward enterprise-wide deployments that generate tangible business results.
As cybersecurity, governance, and operational resilience become increasingly interconnected with AI adoption, collaboration between technology providers, business leaders, and industry experts is becoming essential for building sustainable digital transformation strategies.
We extend sincere appreciation to PLTPRO Data Centre Sdn Bhd for organizing an insightful and engaging executive roundtable, and for bringing together industry leaders to exchange ideas on the future of AI, cybersecurity, and digital transformation. We are honored to have contributed to the conversation and look forward to continuing our collaboration with enterprises and technology partners to accelerate responsible AI adoption and deliver measurable business value across industries.
