Gleematic AI team proudly represented innovation and entrepreneurship in Singapore as they participated in the Singapore Division Final of the 7th International Innovative & Entrepreneurial Competition, which took place on October 9th at the Nanyang Technological University campus. The competition featured 21 top finalists, each of whom had the opportunity to showcase their projects and ideas in front of a distinguished panel of judges.
About the Competition
The event’s format allowed each of the 21 startups ten minutes to pitch their projects, with this time divided into five minutes for the actual pitch and an additional five minutes for a question-and-answer session with the judges. Gleematic AI’s CEO, Christopher Lim, was the voice behind the company’s presentation, showcasing the potential of Cognitive Automation technology like Gleematic to revolutionize various industries and enhance work efficiency.
The competition, known as the China (Shenzhen) Innovation & Entrepreneurship International Competition, aims to bring together innovation and entrepreneurship resources while facilitating access for overseas projects to the Chinese hi-tech industrial ecosystem. This event serves as a platform for foreign innovation and entrepreneurship projects, with no restrictions on competitors’ nationality.
In terms of incentives, the competition boasts a substantial total prize pool of RMB 9.71 million, with individual bonuses of up to RMB 0.75 million (excluding venture capital investments). Moreover, projects landing in Shenzhen and meeting certain criteria are eligible for a startup subsidy of up to RMB 1 million.
To support outstanding projects, a venture capital pool of RMB 25 billion has been established by more than 50 investment institutions, ensuring that participants have equal opportunities for social investment through the platform. The competition also provides comprehensive services through an all-round overseas talent recruitment and settling service system, covering various aspects from competition subject collection to industrial park access.
In addition to these incentives, a series of supportive policies are available to competition participants, including settling policy support, entrepreneurship competition funding schemes, venture capital fund financing plans, scientific and technological financing service support, investment financial services, entrepreneurship spaces, and entrepreneurship services.
