Description of Problem

  1. The engineers from our Client out to their customers’ sites to do repair and maintenance of equipment and vehicles. These engineers needed to generate reports of the status of the repair and maintenance.
  2. The information had to be entered into the SAP system to update about the inventory of the machine parts, and the types of services delivered.
  3. There was a bottleneck as the engineers had to bring back the information to the office and provide it to dedicated administrative staff with access to SAP, to enter the data. 
  4. A bill (invoice) had to be generated based on the information of the servicing report, and it would be sent to the end-customer thereafter.
