The 2nd Singapore-Shanghai Comprehensive Cooperation Council (SSCCC) meeting was held on 11 December 2020. The meeting is co-chaired by Minister Lawrence Wong and vice co-chaired by Minister of State Low Yen Ling, together with Shanghai Mayor and Vice Mayor respectively.

The annual SSCCC meeting is a platform for both sides to discuss key areas of collaboration between Singapore and Shanghai. It is attended by both government and corporate representatives. Through this platform, Singapore companies can get updated on new developments and business opportunities in Shanghai, and have the opportunity to network with Shanghai government officials and corporates, as well as other Singapore companies with investments in China.

Last year, Singapore expanded the Global Innovation Alliance (GIA) network to Shanghai through its partnership with XNode. Both XNode and Enterprise Singapore have since conducted two runs of the GIA Accelerator Programme, supporting 15 Singapore startups in their expansion to Shanghai and China. Two startups have secured partnerships through the programme. We are one of the startups.

Christopher Lim, Founder of Glee Trees, went down to sign the MOU on 11th Dec 2020. We will be partnering with Shanghai’s Aiken Digital, in order to assist Chinese enterprises to improve their marketing outreach using our cognitive automation solution “Gleematic”.

This marks the beginning of our journey into the China market. We are look forward to see what the future holds for us!
